Do You Remember If These Harry Potter Characters Lived Or Died?

The world's favorite wizarding series is over but many fans are still hungry for more. We're feeding your Harry Potter obsession by posing this question: Can you correctly tell us whether these characters were alive by the end of The Deathly Hallows book, or are they beyond the veil?

To be completely fair, Harry did die, or at least a part of him did; the part that was Voldemort's Horcrux. But Harry came back to life and is still in the world of the living, with his wife, Ginny, and their three children: James, Albus and Sirius.

By the end of the Great Battle of Hogwarts, Molly Weasley was alive, although all her children weren't. She went of to become the grandmother of five beautiful children, courtesy of Ron and Ginny.

Luna returned to fight in the Battle of Hogwarts after being freed by Dobby at Malfoy Manner. After the war, she became a magizoologist and had twin sons. Her husband was Rolf Scamander.

After Crouch broke free of the Imperius Curse that was placed on him, he fled to Hogwarts to warn Dumbledore of Voldemort's plans. His son eventually caught him, murdered him and turned him into a bone, which he buried in Hagrid's garden.

By the end of the battle, Ron was very much alive. He married Hermione, had two children and became an Auror at the Ministry of Magic. He was made the godfather of Harry and Ginny's eldest son, James Sirius Potter.

When Dobby began to free the captives at Malfoy manor, Wormtail heard the noises caused by his apparating in and out. After wrestling Harry to the ground and having him in a chokehold, Harry reminded Wormtail that he owed him a debt. Wormtail hesitated and it cost him his life. The silver hand Voldemort gave him sensed his hesitation, turned on him and strangled him to death.

After the wizarding war, Hermione went back to Hogwarts to complete her education, then got a job at the Ministry of Magic. She then married her long-time partner, Ron, and had two children.

Hagrid was one of the few people who fought in the first and second Wizarding Wars and survived. Rumor has it that he remained at Hogwarts after the battle where he is presumably still teaching.

Hogwarts member Cedric Diggory was killed on Voldemort's orders as soon as he and Harry landed in the cemetery. When Harry and Voldemort's wands did the Priori Incantatem, Cedric pleaded with Harry to bring his body back to his father.

Bathilda Bagshot was the witch responsible for writing the Hogwarts textbook: A History of Magic. She was killed at her house in Godric's Hollow, where Nagini took possession of her body, while she waited for Harry Potter to show up. Fun fact: Bathilda was the great-aunt of Gellert Grindelwald.

After committing numerous crimes in many different countries, Gellert was imprisoned in his very own home. When Voldemort needed information about the location of the Elder Wand, Gellert refused and was ultimately slain by Lord Voldemort.

After Wormtail betrayed his friends, Voldemort turned up at the Potter house on Halloween night. Voldemort killed James Potter first, then went on to kill his wife, then attempted to murder his son, Harry.

The epic battle of Hogwarts settled the dust for lots of issues in Harry Potter. For one, there was one winner and one loser. The leader of those losers was Lord Voldemort, who Harry Potter totally annihilated. Avada Kedavra!

Aberforth was one of the few who helped people sneak in and out of Hogwarts, in addition to helping Harry and his friends escape Malfoy Manor. Aberforth survived the Second Wizarding War and continued to live in Hogsmeade where he tended to his goats.

.When Harry rushed to the Department of Mysteries to save Sirius, he ended up being tricked by Voldemort. The real Sirius came to his rescue but was killed by his cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange, and fell behind the veil.

Horace Slughorn survived the Battle of Hogwarts and continued to teach at the school for some time. He recently retired for the second time and a portrait of him was hung in the Dungeons. He was the former Head of Slytherin House.

Lily was killed by Lord Voldemort on a Halloween night while trying to protect her son from the evil wizard. Before she was killed, the love she had for her son formed a protective barrier which made Lord Voldemort's killing curse backfire. It was the beginning of the Boy Who Lived.

Sybill Trelawney fought during the Battle of Hogwarts, dropping crystal balls onto the heads of Death Eaters. After the Battle, she continued teaching at Hogwarts and probably without Firenze's help, since he was welcomed back into his herd.

After Barty Crouch Jr.'s role in the Triwizard Tournament was exposed, he was captured. All his other crimes came to light and he was given the Dementor's kiss by a Dementor that the Minister of Magic at the time (Cornelius Fudge) brought along with him.

Bellatrix was insane and she fought anyone in the name of the Dark Lord. Unfortunately for her, she chose to take on the wrong kid: Ginny Weasley. Molly, her mother, came rushing to her daughter's defense and ultimately killed Voldemort's most sadistic follower.

Vincent Crabbe, one of Malfoy's henchmen, became a dark wizard during his last year at Hogwarts. While trying to ambush Ron, Harry and Hermione, he cast a Fiendfyre curse, which he lost control of. He ended up falling into the fire and dying.

During the Battle of Hogwarts, Goyle, along with Crabbe and Malfoy tried to ambush Ron, Harry and Hermione in the Room of Requirement. Crabbe uttered a curse which resulted in a huge fire and his death. Goyle was saved by the very people he tried to kill.

Alastor Moody was one of the people charged with protecting one of the Harrys during the Battle of the Seven Potters. Sadly, Mad-Eye was hit with a Killing Curse, from Lord Voldemort himself. Dolores Umbridge stole his magical eye to spy on people at the Muggle-Born Registration Commission.

During the Battle of Hogwarts, Malfoy started out on Voldemort's side. Towards the climax of the war, he fled the scene with his mother and father, abandoning everyone to save his own neck. He is then seen dropping off his son at Platform 9 3/4.

Nagini, Voldemort's last Horcrux, needed to be destroyed in order for Voldemort to die. His death would come in the form of a combination of Neville Longbottom and the Sword of Gryffindor. She was the only thing preventing Harry from offing Voldemort.

Fleur survived the Second Wizarding War and went on to have three children with her husband, Bill Weasley. The brave Veela was awarded medals of bravery by the French and British Ministries of Magic for her participation in the war.

Regulus died trying to destroy the locket that was Voldemort's horcrux. Regulus drank the liquid from the basin and succumbed to the effects. He was then dragged underwater by the Inferi. Kreacher, the sole survivor, brought the locket home but couldn't destroy it.

Remember when seven members of the Order had to dress up as Harry in order for him to leave Privet Drive? Well, when the Death Eaters ambushed them, Hedwig intercepted a Killing Curse which was aimed at Hagrid, the person operating Harry's getaway car or bike.

What Dean Thomas did after the war, no one knows but he did survive. He fought in the Great Battle of Hogwarts and was seen sitting and talking with Seamus Finnigan and Aberforth Dumbledore when the fight was over.

Dumbledore was undoubtedly one of the greatest wizards to ever walk the earth. He put on Marvolo Gaunt's ring in an attempt to bring back a loved one and triggered the ring's deadly curse. Because he was going to die anyway, he asked Snape to kill him in order to get Voldemort to fully trust him. Dumbledore died in the Battle of the Astronomy Tower.

Tonks finally found happiness. She married her long-time love, Remus, and gave birth to his son, Teddy. Unfortunately, she lost her life during the Battle of Hogwarts, where she was murdered by her maternal aunt, Bellatrix Lestrange. She was avenged by Molly Weasley.

Ginny was most definitely alive after the Battle of Hogwarts. She married Harry Potter and became a mother of three. She was also a successful professional Quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies. When she retired, she became the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.

Following the backfired memory charm initially meant for Ron Weasley, Lockhart was admitted to the St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, where he became a permanent resident- in the same ward as Frank and Alice Longbottom. His final book was titled 'Who Am I?'

Karkaroff was already in hot water with Voldemort for selling out the identities of his fellow Death Eaters. When his Dark Mark began to burn, he fled, instead of going to Voldemort's side. He was hunted down and killed by his fellow Death Eaters, two years before the Battle of Hogwarts.

Voldemort was displeased with Malfoy for a number of failures, so he treated the family poorly. Before Voldemort's defeat, Lucius, his wife and Draco fled the Hogwarts to save themselves. When the dust settled, neither of the three were charged for any crimes because they did not participate in the war.

The summer before Harry's sixth year, Aragog contracted an unknown illness and despite Hagrid's efforts, died. Hagrid dragged his body out of the forest and buried him near his house. The funeral was attended by Harry Potter, Horace Slughorn and Hagrid himself.

Viktor Krum was alive and well after the battle, having not taken part in it at all. He continued playing Quidditch, then retired after a while. A longing to win the World Cup saw him out of retirement. His country (Bulgaria) won that same year.

During the Battle of Hogwarts, Percy redeemed himself and fought alongside his family. While Fred fought at Percy's side, an explosion came out of nowhere and Fred dropped to the ground. Percy immediately went after Rookwood.

After the Battle of Hogwarts, George was understandably devastated by the loss of his twin brother. He continued to work at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and married Angelina Johnson. His first son was named Fred Weasley.

After this cruel teacher was fired and suspended from the Ministry of Magic, the battle of Hogwarts occurred. When the dust settled, Umbridge was sentenced to Azkaban for her crimes against Muggle-born wizards and witches.

Although Ollivander was captured by Voldemort's cronies, he was freed by Dobby during the escape at Malfoy Manor. Ollivander gave Harry critical information which helped him beat Voldemort in the end. Ollivander was still alive by the end of the book.

Remember the woman who voted fro Harry to be allowed to attend Hogwarts after conjuring a Patronus? Well this is her and she was murdered by Lord Voldemort for her Anti-Voldemort activities. Although her killer isn't named, she was such a skilled witch that it would take someone equally as great to kill her.

Shy Neville Longbottom would become not only one of Harry's greatest friends, but also the one who stood up to Voldemort and killed his pet, Nagini. He survived the battle and went on to become the new Herbology teacher at Hogwarts.

During the Battle of Hogwarts, Remus went up against many Death Eaters, one of which was Antonin Dolohov. Dolohov overpowered Lupin and killed him. Lupin's death was avenged by Professor Flitwick.

As a member of Dumbledore's Army, Lavender helped out during the Battle of Hogwarts. Overwhelmed, she fell over a balcony and was attacked by the werewolf, Fenrir Greyback. Although she was rescued, she eventually died from her injuries.

Minerva McGonagall not only led the resistance during the Battle of Hogwarts, but she survived and continued to work at Hogwarts, not as a professor, but as the Headmistress. She was still in this position by the time Harry's youngest child went to Hogwarts.

Believing that Snape was the holder of the Elder Wand, Voldemort invites Snape to the Shrieking Shack, where he tells Snape that he has to die in order for Voldemort to be the true master of the Elder Wand. Before Snape can explain the truth to him, Nagini strikes his neck and he slowly dies.

Dobby was able to get to Harry by using the mirror shards that Aberforth had. On his last trip to Shell Cottage from Malfoy Manor, Bellatrix's knife struck Dobby as he apparated, killing him in Harry's arms. He was buried next to the sea.
