Mona Lisa Vito was not too happy with Vinny when he casually told her about his upcoming hunting trip with Trotter.

Stan believes they are being charged with shoplifting a can of tuna, but Bill breaks the news to him very bluntly!

On top of the stress of the trial, Vinny also has to worry about Lisa's biological clock. He always said he'd marry her after he won his first trial.

One of the most famous scenes of "My Cousin Vinny," this is part of Lisa's rant about why she (and the deer) don't care what kind of pants Vinny wears on his hunting trip!

"Famous for your mud? How's your _______ food?"

New to the South, Lisa keeps asking about Chinese food and it starts to irritate Vinny.

"I fit in better than you, at least I'm wearing cowboy boots."

Vinny is portrayed by actor Joe Pesci. Pesci was born on February 9, 1943 in Newark, New Jersey.

"It had been calibrated by top members of the state AND federal Department of Weights and Measures... to be dead on _________ accurate!

Lisa was arguing with Vinny that he didn't turn the faucet off completely. He begged to differ until he heard her reasoning.

According to Lisa, "A _______ is spontaneous, a _______ is not romantic."

Lisa tries to explain the difference between spontaneous and romantic to Vinny and uses a burp as an example.

"That is a lucid, intelligent, well thought-out objection."

The judge commended Vinny on his objection, but then overruled it!

"We're gonna fight now?"

J.T. lost a bet of $200 to Lisa. Vinny went to fight and collect, but J.T. couldn't fight yet because he didn't have the $200 on him.

"It's a limited slip _____________ which distributes power equally to both the right and left tires."

When Lisa is on the stand, she explains to the jury what 'positraction' is.

"The Klan's here. They're inbred. They sleep with their sisters.... some of them do."

Stan is portrayed by actor Mitchell Whitfield. He was more worried about their fate than Bill.

So, Mr. Tipton, how could it take you five minutes to cook your grits, when it takes the entire grit-eating world _______ minutes?

Vinny questions Mr. Tipton about the time it took him to cook his grits in relation to when he saw the defendants enter and exit the convenience store. Tipton has no response other than, "I'm a fast cook, I guess!"

"Don't shake your head, I'm not done yet. Wait till you hear the whole thing, so you can understand this."

While cross-examining​ Mr. Tipton, Vinny enthusiastically questions the witness, who doesn't seem to agree with him before he has even finished his question!

"At my cousin Ruthie's wedding, the groom's brother was that guy Alakazam. You know who I'm talking about?"

Bill was trying to convince Stan how smart Vinny was, saying that Vinny always knew how the magician had done his tricks.

"You did good out there today, Yankee. I like the competition."

Jim Trotter was portrayed by actor Lane Smith. Smith also appeared in "The Mighty Ducks" and "The Distinguished Gentleman" in the same year, 1992.

"I'm finished with this guy!"

As Vinny gains momentum in the court room, he works through the witness list one by one, debunking all of their testimony.

"The next words out of your mouth better be "guilty" or "not guilty.""

Vinny is unfamiliar with the protocol of the courtroom. The judge asks him, "How do your clients plead?" and he has a bit of difficulty answering.

"You were fifty feet away, you made a positive eyewitness identification and-and-and-and-and-and-and YET, you were not wearing your necessary, prescription eye glasses."

Mr. Tipton proceeded to tell Mr. Gibbons that his glasses are actually reading glasses - thereby debunking his accusation.

"I know. She's supposed to come through at ten after 4:00."

The hotel clerk was telling Vinny that the freight train doesn't always come through at 5:00 a.m. It's supposed to be even earlier!

"There is no way that these tire marks were made by a 1964 Buick Skylark convertible. These marks were made by a 1963 Pontiac Tempest."

Mona Lisa Vito was portrayed by actress Marisa Tomei. She went simply by Lisa in the film.

"My house and stuff... dirt...screen...trees...leaves...bushes...seven bushes..."

Ernie Crane was portrayed by actor Raynor Scheine. He is also remembered for his role in "Fried Green Tomatoes."

How do you cook your grits? Do you like them regular, ________ or al dente?

After learning about how real Southern grits are prepared, Vinny used this knowledge to ask Mr. Tipton a question during his cross-examination.

"Sustained. Counselor's entire opening statement... with the exception of "__________"... will be stricken from the record."

Vinny gives his opening statement and it isn't very well received by the court - particularly Judge Haller.

"They've gotten thicker over the years."

Mrs. Riley was being questioned by Vinny on the stand about the thickness of her glasses. He then tests out her prescription.

"The laws are medieval down here. Do you know what the minimum age for execution is in ________?"

Stan is concerned for his life while sitting in jail with Bill. Their trial is taking place is Alabama, which is a bit foreign to their norm.

"I'm doing a favor, you know. You're gettin' me for nothing..."

When Stan starts questioning Vinny's experience and credentials, Vinny strikes back with this quote. It doesn't end there though, he adds in some vulgarity to top it off!

"I'm watching you go down in flames, and you're bringing me with you and I can't do anything about it!"

Vinny is stressed about the trial, having never done this before. He is reading law books trying to learn how to do his job!

"No self-respectin' Southerner uses instant grits. I take pride in my grits."

Mr. Tipton doesn't realize it yet, but he is about to dig himself into a hole by admitting that he made real grits in a seemingly short amount of time! Vinny catches him on this.

"Vinny! Vinny bag'o donuts!"

Bill is so relieved and excited to see Vinny when he comes to visit him and Stan at the prison. He greets him with this line and also multiple hugs and kisses.

"Let me ask you a question...how do you get mud in the tires?"

Vinny's car gets stuck in the mud. The locals tell him he's got mud in his tires and he wants an explanation about this!

"I'm an out-of-work __________."

Upon being called to the stand as an expert witness in auto mechanics, Lisa reveals to the court that she is an out of work hairdresser. Trotter wonders how this qualifies her as an expert witness.

"Don't think that being from New York, you're getting a special treatment."

Judge Haller meets with Vinny in his chambers. He is none too impressed with Vinny, just yet.

"Fan it out, show it to me."

Vinny heads back to the bar where J.T. claims he has the $200. It's actually just a bunch of 1s with a 20 wrapped around it!

"What about these pants I got on, you think they're O.K.?"

Vinny is trying to decide what he should wear on his hunting trip with Trotter, and Lisa is about to go on a tirade over this question!
