Everyone has their favorite college team. Whether you're loyal to your alma mater, your place of birth, or you just like the colors, once you've declared allegiance to a college team, you're unlikely to give it up.

Do you love college basketball? Football? Baseball? Perhaps you just love it all! If you can identify these fifty college logos, then you're off to a great start. However, the real question of this quiz is, do you know which conference all of these teams are in? The casual football fan might claim this is an easy task, but college teams change conferences constantly.

Located in Gainesville, Florida, the University of Florida was established in 1853. The Gators, who wear orange and blue, have won a total of 35 national team championships!

Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, students at the University of Michigan are often heard shouting, "Go Blue!" They are known as the Wolverines and wear the colors maize and blue.

Vanderbilt University, also known as "Vandy," is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Founded in 1873, it is home to the Commodores who wear black and gold. In February 2016, the university was fined $100,000 by the Southeastern Conference after fans stormed the basketball court following a win.

Arizona State University was established in 1885 in Tempe, Arizona. It is home to the Sun Devils, who wear maroon and gold.

The curious motto of the University of Kansas is "I shall see this great sight, why the bush does not burn." Donning crimson and blue, the Jayhawks compete in the Big 12 and have won 13 national championships.

Established in 1909, Arkansas State University is also known as "A-State". It is home to the Red Wolves whose colors are scarlet, black and white.

Auburn University is home to the Tigers with their burnt orange and navy blue colors. They have won a total of 17 NCAA championships in their history.

Baylor University is a private Baptist university in Waco, Texas. Their motto is "For Church, For Texas". Established in 1845, their student athletes are known as the Bears and Lady Bears.

Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, the University of Nebraska was chartered by the state legislature in 1869. Their athletes are known as the Cornhuskers who wear the colors scarlet and cream.

Located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Boston College has 9,100 undergraduate students who are known as Eagles. They are primarily members of the ACC, while their hockey athletes compete in Hockey East.

Located in Athens, Georgia, the University of Georgia was founded in 1785 and boasts itself as the country's oldest state-chartered university and birthplace of the American system of public higher education. Their athletes are known as the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs.

The University of Virginia was founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson. Its colors are orange and blue and their athletes are known as the Cavaliers and the Wahoos. They lead the ACC with the most number of NCAA championships across all sports.

Bowling Green State University was established in 1910. The main athletic rivals of the BGSU Falcons are the Rockets of the University of Toledo.

Located in Clemson, South Carolina, Clemson University enrolls more than 18,000 undergraduates each year. They are known as the Tigers and wear orange and regalia colors.

Duke University is located in Durham, North Carolina. Their athletes are known as Blue Devils and wear duke blue and white colors. Duke teams have won 16 NCAA team national championships in their history.

Students at Florida State University are known as the Seminoles. FSU's athletic teams have won 20 national championships in their 113-year history.

The University of Miami is located in Coral Gables, Florida. The Hurricanes, as they are known, have won five national football championships since 1983 and its baseball team has won four national championships since 1982!

Georgia State University's motto is "Truth is Powerful and Will Conquer." It was established in 1913 and its students are known as the Panthers in their blue, white and red colors.

Indiana University is a multi-campus public university system in the state. It has a combined student body of more than 110,000 students! They are referred to as Hoosiers.

Iowa State University was established in 1858 and is located in Ames, Iowa. It is the 3rd largest university in the Big 12 Conference.

Situated in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Wake Forest University was founded in 1834. Each year it enrolls about 4,800 undergraduates who are known as Demon Deacons in their colors old gold and black.

Located in Seattle, Washington, the University of Washington was established in 1861. It is known informally as "U-Dub" and their mascots are Harry the Husky and Dubs!

With more than 29,000 undergraduates, the University of Wisconsin is the oldest and largest public university in the state. It was established in 1848 and its colors are cardinal and white.

Located in Manhattan, Kansas, Kansas State University enrolls 22,000 students each year. They are known as Wildcats and wear royal purple in support of their athletic teams.

Kent State University was first established in 1910 as a teacher-training school. The Golden Flashes wear blue and gold as they compete in the MAC.

Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University was founded in 1853. Their Tigers and Lady Tigers compete in the SEC and are represented by Mike the Tiger.

Don't be fooled, Miami University is located in Oxford, Ohio! It is the 10th oldest public university in the United States. Their nickname is the RedHawks.

The University of Louisville was founded in 1798 and today educates more than 16,000 students. They are known as the Cards, or Cardinals, and have 13 women's and 10 men's athletic teams who participate in the ACC.

The University of Maryland's mottos is "Strong deeds, gentle words". The school was established in 1856. The Terrapins were a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, but left in 2014 to join the Big Ten!

Michigan State University is located in Lansing, Michigan with an enrollment of 39,000 undergraduates! These Spartans wear the colors green and white proudly.

North Carolina State University is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their sports teams are known as the Wolfpack and they have won eight national championships in their history.

The colors of Northern Illinois University are cardinal and black. Known as the Huskies, there are more than 15,000 undergraduates enrolled.

Northwestern University is located in Evanston, Illinois with an enrollment of 8,000 undergraduate students and 12,000 graduate students. Their colors are purple and white.

Ohio State University's motto is "Education for Citizenship." With more than 52,000 undergraduates across its 6 campuses, OSU students are proudly known as Buckeyes.

Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma with more than 23,000 students. It was established in 1890 as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College.

Old Dominion University is located in Norfolk, Virginia. It boasts 18 athletic teams, all of which are known as the Monarchs or Lady Monarchs and mostly compete in Conference USA.

University of Notre Dame is a Catholic university located in South Bend, Indiana. Their colors are blue and gold and their nickname is the Fighting Irish. In sports, they are mostly known for their football program.

University of Southern California was founded in 1880 and is known as the oldest university in California. There are more graduate students enrolled than undergrad! Their colors are cardinal and gold.

Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, Oregon. It has more than 25,000 students enrolled and they are known as Beavers with their orange and black colors.

Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, Indiana. The school was founded by businessman John Purdue and its first classes were held on September 16, 1874, with six instructors and 39 students!

Rice University is named for William Marsh Rice, a businessman who bequeathed his fortune to found the school. He wanted his estate to fund a free institute of higher education in Houston, Texas.

Texas Tech University's motto is "From here, it's possible". With more than 30,000 undergraduates and located in Lubbock, Texas, TTU is home of the Red Raiders.

San Diego State University's colors are scarlet and black. Their mascot is the Aztec warrior and there are more than 29,000 undergraduates studying there.

Stanford University is often referred to as one of the world's most prestigious universities because of its academic strength, wealth and proximity to Silicon Valley. Its colors are cardinal and white and there is no official mascot, though the Stanford Tree is seen with the marching band.

Syracuse University is commonly referred to as 'Cuse. It is a private research university located in Syracuse, New York. Its mascot is Otto the Orange.

Texas A&M University was previously called The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas from 1871 - 1963. Its colors are maroon and white and its mascot is Reveille IX.

Virginia Tech is a public, land-grant, research university with a main campus in Blacksburg, Virginia, educational facilities in six regions statewide, and a study-abroad site in Switzerland. Their mascot is the HokieBird.
